We are in the thick of planning our spring shoulder. Actually no - blatant fabrication... planning began a few months ago, and only the finishing touches are hanging out in the curtains causing distractions. Pretty normal Machete planning, really.
This "planning period" consists of a rough global outline and search for inexpensive one way flights. We coil it all up into a neat french twist with a few tendrils to tame last minute. THEN just about every idea that pops into our heads turns that organized french twist into a style that is 22 days long and as intricate as Queen Victoria's up-do.
In a rogue move we are trying a "divide and conquer" mission for various reasons, so it's somewhat wreaking havoc with the Machete calendar. Wicked fun, though - not sure which of us is more envious of the other's exit off of the tarmac.
...And the Spring shoulder commences very soon!

The inside of this "Machete Folder" originally consisted of any details we'd need at our fingertips for flights and stays, and now the NEW Machete folder is almost up and ready to depart. We won't get into that until later.
